Description:
Very nice Sabatti Safari ejector double rifle in the classic 450 Nitro Express that was tuned by Ken Owen in 2014. Before I purchased this rifle it was sent to Mr. Owen who recrowned and regulated the barrels, added a recoil reducer and decelerator pad, then balanced the gun. Factory and Mr. Owen's targets included. When I got it there was an area of bluing loss at the bottom of the muzzle from the tuning process which I had reblued and the face dressed. It shoots very well with tolerable recoil. The 24 inch ejector barrels have one standing and two folding sights and are made to accept a factory scope base which is included. Wood is very nice with an impression near the buttpad, which is included in the pictures. Double triggers and non-automatic safety. Action is tight and ejectors work well. Weight 10 lbs 6 oz. The case strap was broken when I first received it. I've only shot a couple of boxes through the rifle, and it has a few handling marks but it is ready to hunt any game on the planet.
