Description:
SOLD This revolver was made in 1891. It comes with the original numbered box and pearl grips. I took a lot of pictures and tried to show all the negatives fairly. It is a very nice piece with some flaking of the original nickel finish. The pearl grips fit perfectly and are in excellent condition. Notice the fire blue trigger and hammer. Screws show the fire blue as well. Action works perfectly in double and single action. Bore in the six inch barrel has good lands and grooves, as well as some pitting. It will rate an easy six on a one to ten scale. No issues with the bore. Markings are clear, correct, and original. Numbers match. I believe the box is original to the pistol. I can see part of the number on the box. You can also see it in the pictures. The box is in surprisingly good condition. Both end labels are still present and easy to read. This revolver is a great find. Throw in the original box and pearl grips, you now have a package worthy of any collection. American Arms & Antiques inventory #2442
