This rifle uses the first successful detachable box magazine. The rifle was original made by Sharps Rifle Manufacturing Company but then production was taken over by Remington and they produced it in .45-70. This rifle was used by the U.S Navy and the U.S Army along with many other countries. It was known to be the most widely used rifle design in the 20th century. Overall this is a very good look rifle that hold a lot of history, it would look great it collection. This rifle come with a bayonet, one magazine and has the US Navy contract stamping.
