Winchester Model 1876 .45-60 Second Model with factory 28 inch Octagon Barrel. The serial number of this example is 148XX placing date of manufacture in 1881. Overall condition is excellent with 90+% original untouched factory rust blue. The bore is perfect and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. Bore is bright and shiny from breech to muzzle, void of any damage. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. The Single Set Trigger functions perfectly and is mechanically sound. The brass follower is untouched with a very nice mustard marbling. Wood to metal fit is perfect with normal handling marks and hits...The 2017 Blue Book of Gun Values places the current market value of this rifle at $13750.00 pg. 2200.
