Description:
An excellent original condition Ruger Old Army Percussion Revolver in stainless steel with original adjustable sights, smooth walnut grips, etc. Serial range is 145-290xx. These stainless guns are one of the best percussion revolvers made in recent times. I know this may sound strange but early on Ruger listed these as .44 caliber and later they changed to .45 in their listings, HOWEVER, the guns were of the same caliber and they both used .457 Round Balls as ammo in the cylinders, so I guess one could call them whichever they wished (not withstanding a label which shows a caliber). No ffl required just be 21 and not live in a communist state that prohibits even replica guns without a special license.
