SOLD! CLOSING OUT THIS ADD IN 5 DAYS. Excellent condition honest WWII German 98k Mauser rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber marked “byf 43” on the receiver for manufacture by Oberndorf in 1943. Not import marked. All matching serial numbers. Bolt handle may have been force matched. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Barrel has some pitting under the stock line. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has nice original finish and shows a few normal handling marks. Right side buttstock has a nice Waffenamt WaA135 cartouche. Underside of wrist also has a Waffenamt. Rifle is complete with correct original front sight hood and rubber muzzle cap, and cleaning rod that appears to be a reproduction. Action is super smooth. A super nice “byf 43” 98k with matching numbers. You will be extremely satisfied with this rifle! Very fair price for the condition. Ships from my FFL. Buyer pays shipping and insurance.
