The Model 1911A1 Pre-WWII Colt Commercial was manufactured from 1925 to 1942, serial number range C138533 to C215000. The 1911 pistols were fitted with a 5 inch barrel, full checkered walnut grips, fixed sights, checkered arched mainspring housing, relief cuts in frame behind trigger, chambered in .45 ACP, and commercial blue, parkerized, or nickel finished. This 1935 vintage 1911 is as described and is commercial blue finished. The pistol is in excellent plus original condition, retaining 99% of its original blue finish. The grips fit perfectly and are also in excellent condition, with only a couple of minor pressure dents. The bore looks like new and the action functions the same. Comes with its original, numbered to the gun box, and instructions manual. The box is in good condition, with some cracked and repaired corners, but a sound hinge and very fine condition end labels.
