When John Olin wanted to have title to the strongest side by side shotgun in the world, he went to work and got it done. The Model 21 is an American icon with a well-deserved reputation. A handsome gun built with the finest steels, gunners in the know have utilized this Winchester in the field and at the club to shoot thousands of rounds without failure. IF YOU LIKE HEAVY LOADS FOR PHEASANTS OR OTHER TOUGH GAME, THIS IS THE GUN. FOR THOSE THAT SHOOT HIGH VOLUME BIRDS OR CLAYS, THIS IS YOUR GUN! With only 30,000 produced (compared to 250,000 Parkers!), any high condition Model 21 is a valuable, investment quality firearm. Search the internet and you will see lots of 12ga. guns for sale. Most will be Standard Grade or Skeet Grade guns with some wear on them and most are generic looking Model 21’s that are hard to get excited about. This fine Model 21, sn32789 likely built in the 1960”s (no Cody info available on this serial number, no letter prefix before serial number), is a gorgeous special-order Winchester Model 21 with 2 sets of factory ventilated rib barrels; one 30” set choked M/F, and one 32” set with F/F chokes, both with factory 3” chambers made for magnum waterfowl loads or standard loads. As if this combination of 3” chambered vent rib barrels isn’t special enough, the gun was produced with most all the CUSTOM GRADE or DELUXE GRADE features, including Deluxe checkering, highly figured wood, metal grip cap, checkered butt…just gorgeous wood on this gun! The water table, barrel flats, breech face of the barrels, standing breech of the action, and forend iron have been nicely jeweled, making this custom Model 21 a gorgeous looking gun. The gun is housed in a fine leather case made by Nizzoli of Italy, complete with Winchester trade label and accessories. THIS IS A LOT OF GUN, WITH THE BEST UPGRADES, FOR A VERY GOOD PRICE, ready to pursue all your hunting and clay target sports. What a great gun for vintage clay target shoots with RST spreader loads to open the patterns to IC/M if needed. This Model 21 appears to be unfired, with no primer marks around the firing pin holes, and all finishes showing 99.9% new. The gun is in perfect mechanical order and the finishes are all as new with no flaws. THIS IS THE ULTIMATE WATERFOWL, TURKEY, PHEASANT GUN, ready for ducks over decoys with the M/F chokes, or long-range work with the F/F barrels. THIS IS A VFI CERTIFIED GUN WITH A 90 DAY SHOOTING WARRANTY, as we have stripped the action and forend iron to the smallest part, cleaned all to bare metal in the Ultrasonic cleaner, inspected each part for function and integrity, lubricated all properly and reassembled…no work needs to be done to this gun…she is ready for action.
