Description:
Breathtaking early post war 70 in the scarce .257 Roberts caliber which has recently been restocked with a gorgeous piece of flame grained walnut. S/N 158*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1950. The rifle is like new at 99% overall. 24" Barrel with excellent bore and excellent mechanical function throughout. The stock work is excellent and the checkering flawless. I've had the priviledge of handling a fair number of shotguns with over the top type wood, but this is among the nicest looking rifles I've ever seen. Priced considerably less than replacement cost.
