Description:
This steel-framed, recoil-operated, 3-shot semi-automatic 20 gauge shotgun was manufactured between 1954 and 1961 by the Winchester firm.  Called the Model 50, over 196,000 of these shotguns were produced with the vast majority of them in 12 gauge, making 20 gauge examples very sought-after and scarce.  This example is absolutely beautiful, in excellent all-original condition retaining 97 to 98% of the original blue finish on all of the metal parts and a near-perfect original checkered Walnut stock set.  Both of the 28" inch factory barrels for this Winchester have mirror-bright pristine bores, with no pitting, dents, or bulges.  The barrel currently installed on this Model 50 is choked "Full", with the extra barrel choked "Modified".  This shotgun is a true survivor, and is a "collector grade" gun that would be an excellent addition to any Winchester collection.  It would be nearly impossible to upgrade from this scarce 20 gauge Model 50!
