This Colt Double Barrel shotgun is in very fine original condition. This shotgun is factory engraved, that work is executed beautifully. This shotgun weighs 9lbs. 31" damascus barrels showing much of their original fine finish. The lock mechanism and frame show much of the original case hardened finish present with the lockplates showing vivid case colors throughout. The bores are very clean. The stock and forearm show light handling ware with fine checkering. Mechanically both locks function as they should. This shotgun is accompanied by a factory letter confirming all features and noting shipment to Chut Allening (address unavailable) on Sept. 28, 1880, one gun in shipment. This is the best Colt shotgun that I'm aware of anywhere online at this time. Dont miss your opportunity to obtain a fantastic example!
