Description:

Allen & Thurber Side Hammer Single Shot Target .36 Caliber Pistol. Barrel is 8” long and is half round and half octagon. Action works perfectly. Grips are an elongated handle with two screws. Upper and lower rear sight is a later replacement, but is correct size and shape as the original sight. Left side barrel vertical flat marked, “Allen & Thurber, Worchester, Cast Steel”. Gun has some light pitting. Trigger guard is replaced and is well done. Manufactured 1840’s to 1850’s. Serial number 242.
