Ok- so this is about as good as you're going to get outside NIB. This gun supposedly had about 10 rounds thru it, then was put bock in the box, where it has sat since 1968. Everything is right, the correct Colt grips are stone mint. box is original, right, and numbered to the gun, as is the original Colt test target, which is dated and signed as well. Great target too! Original sight tool, "Handling the Handgun" and warranty card. Only the slightest turn line. The only flaw is that there is a red residue from the red dye in the box on top of the frame in front of the rear sight. This part of the frame rested against the red colored part of the box interior. You can see it in the picture that shows that part of the gun It doesn't seem to want to come off and I didn't want to screw it up. The gun also has the original dealer's tag showing the price of $175.00 on the end flap of the box. Can't get any more original or much better than this package! $55 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
