This drilling started out as a special order model 37 B SS Sidelock with Self Cocker and set trigger. It developed into a Royal Big Five Drilling by Master gun maker Michael Wigand and Master Engraver Hendrik Fruehauf. Wigand wanted to make a Drilling suited for Big Five hunting. Fruehauf had the idea of Big Five Bolino Engraving and here is the end result. One of a kind. Truely a masterpiece fit for any museum.
This Drilling has had many write ups in German gun magazines. They can be viewed online in German.
Barrels are 25 in. LOP is 16.5 in.
Scope is Zeiss 1.5-6X42 lighted Reticle with Recknagel swing mounts.
Value is nearly double our asking price.
