20 gauge side-by-side, round action trigger plate, assisted-opening side-by-side game gun by Scottish maker, David McKay Brown. Built on the classic Scottish trigger plate action with its rounded action bar, the gun features two triggers, automatic ejectors, auto-safety, full cover scroll engraving with pheasant on action by Creative Art. The Maker’s name is engraved in a small banner on the side of the action and the word “SAFE” is inlayed in gold. 29-inch chopper lump barrels with 2 3/4 chambers are choked .018/.018. Gorgeous Turkish walnut straight-hand stock, with splinter foreend and checkered butt measures 15" x 13/8" (comb) x 15/8 (face) x 21/8" (heel); slight cast off. Weighing a lively 6 pounds, 1 ounce, the gun shows some signs of use, but is overall in excellent condition, tight on the face, and the barrels and stock free from any dents, bulges or cracks. A superb example of the classic Scottish round action game gun. In Americase with Maker's trade label.
