Description:
This is a fantastic Isaac Hollis & Sons .577 2-3/4” double under lever rifle with 4 Platinum Lined Leif sights marked 150, 200, 250 and 300. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight. The bores are excellent bright and shiny. On a 1-10 with 10 being perfect, I rate the bore as 9.5 or 9.6. The outsides of the barrels were redone when the 4 Platinum lined Leif sights were added. The receiver, locks, hammers and trigger guards are nicely engraved, the wood checkering is crisp and sharp. The hammers are not rebounding and there is an oval monogrammed silver plaque with the letters HMS on the bottom of the butt stock behind the pistol grip. The length of pull is 14 1/4inches.
