Description:
1920 Colt Officers Model Target .38 with a rare 7 1/2'' barrel. Per the included Colt archive letter it was shipped November 9 1920 to VL&A in Chicago, IL. This is a very high condition gun. The original finish still retains all of it's deep dark shine throughout. There is a little high edge wear at the left fron of the muzzle. Outside of that any handling is very light. Overall the finish rates 98%. The action is crisp, the lock up is tight, and the bore is bright and shiny. The factory original wood grips also remain in excellent condition. Overall this is a top shelf century old Pre War Target revolver.
