Very rare and excellent condition WWII German G.33/40 Mauser Mountain Carbine in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that was manufactured at the BRNO factory in occupied Czechoslovakia and has the “945” code on the receiver and dated 1941. This gun is not serialized on the receiver and is in the white on the receiver, barrel, and bolt. Other parts are blued. This is probably a late war last ditch effort assembled gun using earlier rejected parts in a futile attempt to support two major fronts. The only serialized parts are the bolt and bayonet lug. Rear sight sleeve is loose, and the stock forend tip is not drilled for a bayonet lug pin. “In the white” parts are turning gray. Blue finish shows very little wear, mostly on the kick plate. Bore is mirror bright with sharp rifling and is probably unfired. Solid wood stock has excellent original finish and super crisp edges. Underside of buttstock has a crisp Waffenamt. brg 41 stamped on buttplate. SN on bolt handle is 6253. SN next to bayonet lug is 98. An awesome G.33/40 Mauser Carbine that is almost impossible to find in this condition. Extremely rare German WW2 Carbine! Ships from my FFL. Buyer pays $45 for shipping and handling.
