U.S. Springfield 1863 Type II Musket. Good looking Civil War era U.S. Springfield model 1863 Type II. Production of over 250,000 from 1864-1865. This type was used extensively toward the end of the Civil War. Metal has a gray patina. Lock plate is dated 1864. Stock is good, has been lightly sanded. Get your Union shoulder arm today!
