COLT OFFICERS MODEL 1912 PRODUCTION. Colt’s top of the line target revolver that won most of the matches during that era. In c.1912-1913 Colt offered a deep blue high polish finish with a stylized "C" on the side plate. This superb .38 Special 7 1/2" barrel near mint example survives with approximately 98% original high polish blue finish. The insides of the barrel and cylinder are bright and shiny. This revolver apparently has only been fired very little. The recoil shield still shows most of the blue indicating only little use. The original grips have 98% original finish and with no chips or cracks. The serial number 342870 places production in 1912 as is also stated in the Colt Factory Letter that accompanies the pistol. There is also an original Colt box, but it goes to an Officers Model made a few years later I believe. There's no number on the bottom of the box. Offers Accepted. FedEx Shipping is $25.
