I'd sell my gun if Wolf stopped making this ammo, IMO its not worth having a gun unless you can get ammo that makes it affordable to shoot it. Hornady might be good for hunting but I want to blow up exploding targets, shoot paper and have fun. Thanks Wolf for making a low cost ammo option for 6.5 Grendel by Anonymous - 2018-01-05 15:49 The Grendel is a proven performer ballistic-wise, and when you factor in the availability of this sub $0.30/round off-the-shelf ammo, it blows every other alternate (non-subsonic) AR caliber out of the water. This stuff shoots just fine for 100-200 yard range plinking. Why you'd want to build something else is beyond me. by Anonymous - 2017-11-07 10:56 Bought a 1k round case of this as break-in and range day ammo. Tested it in my long-range Grendel build which has a 20" 1:8 twist AR15 Performance SPR barrel. Ammo averaged 1" groups for 5 shots at 100yds, gun/ammo held true to 1 moa out to 300 yards, which was the farthest we tested it at. Very happy with this ammo at those prices, also run the Hornady ELD Match and the SST, match load shoots boring with 1/2" groups or better and the SST does about 7/8".
