Description:
This Prussia Machine Gun and Artillery officers sword is well marked, with the unit markings on the cross guard, and the blade back ridge, has William with crown and 1897. The D with the crown also shows that the Dragoons used this sword, which is also on the cross guard and on the scabbard throat. The scabbard has a tiny dent that effects nothing, the blade has been sharped ,but not badly. The grip is factory perfect. The blade fits perfect in the scabbard. The 25th was a reserve unit containing heavy machine guns and artillery. 859-533-5445
