Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: One of the third series of Manhattan's made during the Civil War, this gun, serial number 29XXX, has the desirable 6 1/2 inch barrel and is factory engraved. It is a .36 caliber five shot variant, marked "MANHATTAN FIREARMS CO. NEWARK N.J." on the barrel. While there is no original finish, the New York style floral engraving with punch dot background is still sharp and vivid, and the walnut grips retain most of their original varnish. The 12 notch cylinder has excellent nipples and the face shows little, if any corrosion. The 1859 patent date is very clear and readable on the rear. It is in a nice, but relined case, with original flask and a "Manhattan" stamped, two cavity bullet mold. The Eley Bros. cap tin is excellent. This is a very nice, original engraved revolver in an attractive cased set. PRICE: $2,950 We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.
