Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: These pre-1915 Colt Model 1903 Pocket pistols are really spectacular with an amazing factory polish and high-gloss charcoal blue finish.  This example was made in 1912 and is in excellent condition overall, complete with it's original serial numbered box, owner's manual, Colt pamphlet, retail hang tag, and shipping paper.  This beautiful Colt has obviously spent it's entire life in a sock drawer or a safe and has been very well-cared for.  It isn't too often that we get examples like this that are 100% complete with everything they left the factory with in 1912.  The Colt Model 1903 was first introduced in 1903 and in production until 1946, going thru 4 variations during the run.  These variations or types are known as "Type 1" thru "Type 4" by collectors today.  The Model 1903 Pocket was a great success for the Colt firm, as the weapon proved to be very well made, reliable, accurate, and attractive in design.  During World War 2 Colt even made a government contract run of these pistols for the war effort that were parkerized and marked "U.S. Property".  This particular example is a "Type 3" Model 1903, falling in the 105,051 to 468,096 serial number range.  This Colt features the beautiful charcoal factory blue finish, a bushing-less 3.75" inch barrel (Type 1 thru Type 3 had bushings), and checkered black hard rubber grips (checkered Walnut became standard in 1924).  The spectacular factory blue finish on this gun rates 96% with only some very minor handling marks and speckling visible.  The beautiful original "fire blue" on the safety and trigger rates 97 to 98%.  The bore is very good with strong and sharp rifling throughout with a slight frosting in the grooves.  The original factory grips are like-new and excellent, free from any cracks, chips, wear, or repairs.  This Colt is in perfect working order with 100% functional controls.  We have no doubt that it will shoot just as accurately and reliably today as the day it left the factory.  As mentioned before, it comes with everything it originally left the factory with which is also in excellent condition.  If you have been looking for a top collector grade Colt 1903 here is your chance.  It would be near impossible to upgrade from this all-original and complete beauty.     SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: Colt Model: Model 1903 "Pocket Serial Number: 129743 Caliber Info: .32 ACP Bore: Good / Very good Condition: Excellent Manufacture Date: 1912 Extras: w/ Original Box, Owner's Manual, Paperwork, Hang Tag, Etc.
