Description:
This is a very attractive, lightly-used, 2nd Generation Colt Single Action Army manufactured in 1960. This beautiful and iconic Colt features a case-hardened frame, a gloss blued barrel, cylinder, and grip frame, checkered black plastic factory grips with Rampant Colt medallions, a 7.5" inch barrel, and is chambered in .357 Magnum. As you can see from the pictures, the case colors on the frame are still very colorful and bright with very little fading/wear. The factory blue finish on the cylinder, barrel, and grip frame is also still in very good condition overall, showing only some very minor areas of finish wear. The cylinder has a drag-line around it but otherwise looks great. The polished sides of the hammer are still nice and bright with no staining or signs of previous corrosion. The factory grips are in excellent condition, free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or major dings/damage. Both grips are perfectly fit to the gun and tight to the grip frame with no wiggle. The bores in both the 7.5" inch barrel and cylinder are like-new and bright. The rifling still shows sharp lands and grooves and there are no visible imperfections whatsoever in the barrel. The action on this Colt is smooth, slick, and perfectly precise. This Colt is in "perfect time" and the cylinder locks up tight with zero play in it. All of the controls on this revolver are in 100% perfect working order. This Colt SAA will function just as well today as the day it left the factory 59 years ago. If you have been looking for one of these American classics for your collection that you can enjoy as both an investment and as a shooter this 1960-production Single Action Army would be an excellent choice. This Colt would be a blast at the range loaded up with .38 Special target ammo.
