SOLD......REDUCED PRICE !!!! Antique Smith & Wesson #2 Army. A very nice and crisp Smith & Wesson #2 Army with some nice finish remaining. Has the standard 6” barrel and in .32 rim fire. S/N 46816 with matching grips. ALL assembly numbers matching of course. The gun is very smooth and crisp with good traces of blue remaining on the barrel in the flute below the barrel rib as you can see. The frame has some very nice bright but thinning blue on both sides and around the hammer on both side. A little blue remains on the butt by the S/N also. The cylinder has no blue remaining. The balance of the gun is a very smooth light brown patina and has never been cleaned on or messed with, just the way you love to find these. No pitting on the gun. The mechanics are excellent. A very crisp and tight gun. Absolutely NO wobble at the hinge which most all of these have even with high condition. Also NO cylinder movement front to rear or side to side at the front as again, most all of these will show. This gun is tight as new with NO issues. Rock solid barrel to frame fit at the latch also. Perfect hammer full cock notch also. All the markings are excellent including the cylinder markings show no wear. The grips are very nice with one small chip on the left side at the bottom rear. They still have about 50% original varnish. NO other cracks or chips and a perfect factory fit. The bore is very fine near excellent with just some minor frosting but still strong rifling and shiny. NO big pits or any issues. The chambers are excellent and bright with no roughness. Perfect untouched front sight never filed on or messed with. Screw heads and take down pins look like never messed with and not all beat up and burred from tinkering. About all I can say on this one. See the photos. A very nice little #2 Army that shows no abuse and just honest use with some nice finish remaining for the money. Much better than the loose and wobbly dirt brown ones you see selling for about the same price as I have this one listed for. A very nice and tight gun for the money here. Free insured shipping..
