Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is a nice custom Colt Single Action Army made in 1969.  This 2nd Generation Colt has been custom engraved, had a set of custom Colt grips fitted, and was nickel plated.  The scroll-type engraving is primarily located on either side of the top half of the barrel, on the rear grip strap and butt, on top of each cylinder, and a band at the rear of the cylinder.  The top of the rear grip strap is engraved with the initials "JEC".  As you can see from the pictures, the nickel plating is in excellent overall condition, showing only minor handling/storage marks with no eyesores or bad spots.  All of the factory stampings are still nice and crisp, and there is no evidence of haphazard buffing before it was plated.  The bores in the barrel and cylinder are in perfect condition and mirror-bright, without any visible imperfections.  The faux ivory Colt grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions are also in excellent condition, free from any cracks, chips, or repairs.  Both grip panels are nicely fit and tight to the grip frame with no wiggle.  The action on this Colt is perfectly "in time", extremely smooth, and very precise.  The trigger breaks with a light pull with no excessive travel or grit.  It is very obvious that this custom Single Action Army was very well cared-for and was likely someone's pride and joy.  All of the work that was done to this gun appears to have been expertly accomplished.  If you have been looking for a unique and attractive Colt Single Action that you can enjoy as both an investment and shooter, this customized 2nd Generation .357 Magnum model would be a great choice.        SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: Colt Model: Single Action Army (2nd Generation) Serial Number: 50108SA Caliber Info: .357 Magnum Bore: Excellent Condition: Very Good Barrels: 5.5" Inches Manufacture Date: 1969 Extras: Custom engraving, grips, and Nickel plating
