Unmarked “Merwin” Percussion Revolver. Thought to have been marketed by Joseph Merwin, circa 1859. .28 caliber. Barrel length 3 ¼”. Action works perfectly. Bore is mostly bright with strong rifling. Barrel and cylinder have approximately 95% bright blue. Frame is Iron and has patina color. Grips are very fine with some minor handling marks. Merwin marketed this as a “production” model.
