Description:
This is a clean mid 90's Winchester mod 70 rifle. HS Precision stock with aluminium bedding block. Heavy 26 in stainless barrel. the twist rate is one turn in 9 in. Steel hinged floorplate. It is blieved that Winchester used Wilson barrels on these rifles and they have a cult like following based on there fine accuracy. trigger pull is set at 1.5 lb. This rifle has been lightly used. i bought it used from my gunsmith in the early 2000's, did load development and put it in my safe. i Ihave never hunted anything with it. included in my photos is a 200 yd target that measures .8 in. I will include all my load development targets with the rifle. I'm now 73 and cant see a future need for the rifle, so it needs a new home. I'm not a FFL. sales limited to the lower 48 due to shipping cost. buyer to pay $35 shipping.
