Description:
This Springfield Armory Model U.S. 1866 is a trap door breech loading single shot rifle in .45 Cal. It has a 36.5 inch barrel with a front blade sight and a two position notch flip middle sight. The stock is a smooth walnut straight grip and it has three barrel bands. The right side plate is stamped U.S. Springfield and 1885. The left side stock is stamped D23 over .45
