Here we present an antique Winchester Model 1887 Lever Action Shotgun, made circa 1888 in New Haven, Connecticut. This model saw just under 65,000 made. These guns were designed by the famous John Moses Browning and are considered the first successful lever action shotgun. They were fast eclipsed by pump action shotguns but were a tremendous upgrade in firepower to the standard double barrel of the time. They came in both 10 and 12 gauges, and full lengths of 30-32 inch barrels and “riot” length of 20 inches. The riot length version is considerably scarcer. This would have been a great gun for upland birds or waterfowl. The overall condition is very good. 75% of the original blue finish remains. The markings are legible. The walnut stock is in very good condition. The bore is in good condition and remains serviceable. The action is excellent. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel: 30 inches. Caliber: 12 gauge Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. Delivered directly to your door by express mail!
