Description:
Very nice, 1st year production Colt 1911-A1 in the .38 Super caliber. The serial # on the frame matches the serial # on the slide. There is some very minor wear to the leading edges and the front and rear of the grip strap area. (see pics) The usual "idiot" scratch on the left side of the frame. All of the factory markings are very nice. Nice grips, and an excellent bore. Original two tone magazine is in excellent condition and shows very minimal use. Beautiful, and very nice 1st year .38 Super ! Comes with factory letter showing shipment to, James C. Lindsay Hardware Co. in 1929. Please ask questions if desired. FFL or C&R license required for transfer. Shipping is $35.00 which will include the insurance to the lower 47 states. NO sales to CA.
