Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is a very nice all-original Colt Frontier Scout revolver in .22 rimfire that comes complete with it's original box, owner's manual, and warranty card.  This example is serial number 75363F and was made in 1959.  Colt introduced the Frontier Scout in 1957 and it remained in production until 1970.  The model was a commercial success for the firm, endearing itself to shooters and collectors with it's likeness to the famous Single Action Army, it's build quality, and it's reliability.  There were approximately 246,000 of these little revolvers made during the production run.  This particular single-action Frontier Scout features an all-blue finish, a 4.75" inch barrel, a six-shot cylinder, and checkered black plastic grips.  It is a very attractive revolver overall but the original finish on this gun shows some very minor wear on the high edges and some little pinprick sized specks on just the frame.  You can see these in the pictures provided.  We are not sure what might have caused thiese tiny specks but it doesn't appear to have been caused by actual mechanical wear to the finish.  The bores in this Colt are excellent in both the barrel and chambers in the cylinder.  The rifling still shows sharp lands and grooves and there are no visible imperfections.  The original grips on this Frontier Scout are in excellent condition, free from any cracks, chips, major dings, or repairs.  The checkering is still crisp and the Rampant Colt logos are clean.  Both grips are perfectly fit to the revolver and tight to the grip frame with no wiggle.  The action on this Colt is perfectly "in time" and all of the controls are in perfect working order.  This Colt should shoot just as well today as the day it left the factory 60 years ago.  As mentioned earlier, this Frontier Scout comes with it's original box which still has the original end-label on it, and the bottom of the box is serial numbered to this gun.  The box shows a little wear and tear but is completely intact other than one corner which has come loose on both the upper and bottom sections of the box.  The original owner's manual and warranty card are both in good condition and fully intact (the warranty card has never been filled out).  If you have been looking for a nice all-original Frontier Scout for your collection this 1959 production model would be a great choice.              SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: Colt Model: Single Action Frontier Scout Serial Number: 75363F Caliber Info: .22 Rimfire Bore: Excellent Condition: Very Good Barrels: 4.75" Inches Manufacture Date: 1959 Extras: w/ Original Box, Manual, & Warranty Card
