1914 Vintage S&W .44 Triple Lock fitted with a 6 1/2 inch barrel, checkered diamond walnut grips with recessed S&W medallions, target front sight, factory adjustable rear sight, is blue finished, and chambered in .44 S&W Special. This all-numbers matching (frame to cylinder, barrel, crane, and grips) 6-shot .44 Triple Lock is in excellent original condition, retaining 98% of its original factory blue finish, with minor thinning at the muzzle and a drag line on the cylinder. The bore looks as-new and the action functions the same, with perfect timing and a tight lock-up. The original factory grips retain most all of their original finish, with only a few minor handling marks. All of the screw-heads on this Triple Lock are un-molested, even the tiny adjustment screws on the rear sight. This is a fantastic example of its type, and it would be very hard to find one nicer. It is very obvious this gun has been fired very little and has lived a very easy life since leaving the factory 105 years ago!
