This S & W M-37 Chiefs Airweight Special -.38 Cal Ser No. J 997XXX. This is one of S & W iconic "J" frame. These came out in the Forties and when every Cop had to have one. It comes w/a matching S & W Factory Box & w/paperwork. The bluing is about 97% w/only a very feint cylinder line and a very light mark on the upper frame. The Grips are 100%
It is in a very good to excellent S& W Snub-Nose w/a 1 7/8' Barrel. The bore is a mirror. The action is excellent.
