Description:
Here is a very beautiful and very collectible Winchester Model 42 pump action shotgun chambered in .410 GA that was built in 1949. If you haven't owned one of these shotguns then you have been missing out, they are a lot of fun! This particular model was redone at some point in its life by Simmons Custom Gun Works where they installed a vented rib and professionally refinished the shotgun. Has a 28 inch barrel, full choke, and 3 inch chamber. The bore looks excellent and is very shiny. The stock and fore end are done beautifully in walnut with a nice oily sheen and gorgeous patterns. Looks and works excellent with nearly 100% of the finish. The wood has some very faint handling marks but overall looks excellent and has a length of pull around 14 inches to the factory plastic butt plate. Has a fiber optic sight at the front of the vented rib barrel.
