Hammerless Sidelocks - This is the highly sought after Scottish round action with the skeleton frame giving it the appearance of a bar in wood. What a joy this would be to carry on that late winter snowy pheasant hunt. Where the metal action-ed double would be ice in your hand, this lovely killing machine with mostly wood in the hand would be warm to the carry.
We have been in touch with Dickson\'s that have the MacNaughton records and they tell us No. 2087 was a Best Ejector, Long Lever Skeleton, Built for William Green, 31st December 1897.
Considered by many the most elegant of the Scottish guns this gun when held makes one only nod in agreement.
