Description:
Marlin Golden 39A .22LR/L/S lever action rifle, dated to 1963. This rifle features smooth American black walnut furniture with a fluted comb, checkered plastic buttpad, grip cap, swivel studs, in addition to a rich blued finish, open sights, and a gold trigger. The rifle also has a takedown feature, via the large thumb screw on the receiver. The rifle is JM marked, and was manufactured during the pre-safety era, with no manual safety, only a half-cock notch. The rifle is in excellent working order with a great bore and a smooth action, with some signs of light use and age, but appears to have been very well cared for, as seen in the photos.
