Description:
U.S. Springfield Model 1903 rifle chambered in 30-06 Springfield. The receiver is early and dates 1909, and still retains the original 1908 dated barrel. The rifle has been through a re-work and features a mix of remington and Springfield manufatured parts, and a very desirable C-Type stock. The bore is very nice with sharp rifling and showing only minor frosting through out. The muzzle erosion measures a 1+, so this rifle should make a great shooter. all functions work as they should and the action is smooth and locks up tight. If you have been looking for a 1903 Springfield to shoot that won't break the bank, this would make a great choice.
