Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is a beautiful all-original Browning FN High Power Safari Grade rifle chambered in .30-06 caliber with a vintage Leupold VX-II Scope mounted on it with 1" Redfield Rings and a 1-piece base.  These Belgian made Browning rifles are beautiful, extremely well-made, very reliable, and very accurate.  They are a true classic and are sought-after today by collectors and sportsman alike.  This particular Safari Grade rifle features a high-gloss blue factory finish on the metal parts, a controlled-round feed action, a 22" inch barrel with factory iron sights, a bright polished bolt with a Mauser-style full-length extractor, a factory-engraved hinged floorplate with gold accents, and a gloss-finished checkered Walnut pistol grip stock with a cheek-piece, factory sling swivel studs, and a factory-installed buttplate (14" LOP).  This rifle has obviously been well cared for and shot very little in it's life, as it remains in excellent original condition and shows little to no wear.  The gloss blue factory finish rates 98% on this Browning, with the only deductions coming from a touch of wear on the forward edge of the floorplate.  The polished bolt is bright and beautiful with no visible staining or evidence of prior surface rust.  The bore in this rifle is in excellent condition and bright throughout.  The rifling still looks new with sharp lands and grooves, and there is no visible pitting, erosion, or imperfections whatsoever.  The original stock is in excellent condition as well.  It is free from any cracks, chips, major wear, or repairs.  Only under close inspection can you find a few tiny handling/storage marks in the wood.  The original gloss clearcoat is fully intact and clean with no cracking or discoloration.  All of the original stock hardware is intact and in excellent condition, including the Browning-branded buttplate.  This Safari Grade Belgian Browning FN High Power rifle is in perfect wokring order with a slick and precise action.  The bolt turns into battery smoothly and locks up perfectly tight, it really has to be felt to truly be appreciated.  We have no doubt that this rifle will shoot just as reliably and accurately as the day it left the factory in 1968.  The vintage Leupold VX-II scope that is mounted on this rifle is in very good condition and has perfect, crystal-clear optics.  The objective lens and eyepiece lens are free from any scratches or chips, and the windage and elevation adjustments are in perfect working order.  The power adjusting ring moves nice and smooth, and the eyepiece can be adjusted for focus and locked in place with the locking ring.  This scope has a standard duplex style reticle.  The vintage Redfield rings and 1-piece base are in great shape as well.  This scope will certainly hold zero perfectly on this rifle, and if for some reason it breaks or quits working properly it is covered by Leupold's Lifetime Warranty.  All in all, this Browning FN High Power Safari Grade rifle and Leupold scope is a very classy and handsome package together and would be a fine addition to any rifle collection.  This is certainly a rifle that you could carry into any hunting camp in the world with a lot of pride.             SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: Browning - Belgium Model: FN High Power Safari Grade Rifle Serial Number: 8L 47518 Caliber Info: .30-06 Springfield Bore: Excellent Condition: Excellent Barrels: 22" Inches LOP: 14" Inches Weight: 8 lbs 10 ounces (w/scope) Manufacture Date: 1968 Extras: w/ Vintage Leupold VX-II 3-9 Power Scope & Redfield 1-Piece Base/Rings
