Description:

Browning Superposed P 2 U Broadway Trap engraved by J. Baerten, 12 gauge 2-3/4" chambers, 32' barrels.  Barrels are choked Imod and Full and have the wide "Broadway" ventilated rib.  Front sight is a red Bradley style bead and small 'pre-ban ivory' mid bead.  Gun is marked 'MADE IN BELGIUM' with the Utah and Montreal addvress also stamped on barrel. Gun bears a manufactue date of 1977.

This gun features the coin finished Browning Superposed O/U action with a gold plated single selective trigger, and is engraved with near ful coverage of well cut large open shaded scroll with acanthus highlights surronding nicely detailed scenes of game birds; 3 pheasants fly through a woodland on left, and a trio of ducks rise from marsh on right, a pair of quail fly across the bottom of the action.  Trigger gauard has matching scroll.  Both side scenes are signed 'J. Baerten".  Burl figured European walnut on a flat knob long tang buttstock (FKLT) measuring 143/8" over original Browning open sided pad.  Modified point pattern checkering wraps over top of grip.  Matching forend is a flared beavertail style. DAC measures 1 5/8" and DAH measures 1 7/8", weight approximately 7 lbs 12 oz.  This gun comes with a factory Browning case lined with white fleece and includes an instruction manual.  

Provenance / Other:
This gun was previously owned by the late reknowned Browning expert and collector, Rod Fuller.  Browning factory records indicate that 56 "Presentation Series" guns were made in this type, only 16 were made in this grade.

Condition:
This gun is in in excellent, nearly new and appears essentially unfired since proof, with only the slightest of handling marks on wood and metal.  Mechanically crisp.  Case is in excellent condition with some slight soiling from storage of the firearm.

Shipping and Handling
New London Arms Company charges a fixed rate on all Shipments.  The charge for long guns is $75 each.  Insurance may be added at 1.75% of the total purchase price.
