Description:
Up for sale today is a beautiful Winchester Model 42 from the estate. This is a pump action shotgun chambered in .410 GA with a 3 inch chamber and fixed full choke. This beauty was originally built in 1941 but has been customized sometime during its life by Simmons Gun Specialties with a vent rib barrel and gorgeous custom checkered walnut. The barrel is 28 inches with a shiny bore that looks very minty. The finish looks great and is near 100%. There are a few very small nicks on the top of the receiver but they were there before it was redone by Simmons and are blued along with the rest of the gun. Length of pull is about 14.75 inches to the Winchester butt plate. Overall this is a gorgeous and great working shotgun that would be excellent as a collector piece or shooter as well.
