Up for sale today is a US Springfield Model 1899 Krag Carbine serial no. 287905 chambered in caliber .30-40 Krag. This excellent original carbine shows excellent overall finish on all wood and metal parts. The stock shows a cartouche dated 1900, and the rifle retains its correct headless cocking piece and an excellent bore. The rifle comes with the correct front sight cover. A great piece of history and a great shooter as well.
