Description:
A most Beautiful, All Matching/Original and no doubt Un-Issued Model 49 Carbine from Persia/Iran. Actually manufacture right after WWII in Iran/Persia! With perfect, deep, sharp and crisp markings thru-out. All markings remain total un-touched/never altered and as such are all still in Farsi and this includes the Serial Number! The untouched Beautiful original finish rates 98%+/99% including the butt-plate! The receiver itself rates easily at 99% with the ‘’IRANIAN CREST’’ totally intact on the front receiver ring. The complete bolt assembly is Factory ‘’in the white and also Mint! The trigger housing and floor plate also rate 99%. The rear sight other than a blemish on the right side of the adjustment sliding elevation bar rates 98%. The barrel bands also rate 98%+ and the exposed barrel/front sight rate 98%+. The bare metal bayonet lug assembly is untouched and other than a blemish on the right front is perfect, The is no cleaning rod with carbine. The bore, action and mechanically are perfect as this Carbine is no doubt UNISSUED! The entire Matching wood are outstanding and other than a few minor storage marks rate Mint/Minty with the stock and hand guard matching perfectly is all respects being of Iranian manufacture as is the complete Carbine. The right rear butt stock is perfectly marked with the original Matching serial number and the circular Iranian proof! Complete with its scarce original leather sling. A most outstanding example of the amazing quality being produced in Persia/Iran right after WWII. Also of special note for the discriminating Collector is the fact that it is *NOT Import Marked* Also of high collector note/value: there are No Serial Deciphered/Number interpreted alterations ONLY Iranian Farsi markings!!!
