EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA PERCUSSION CONVERSION LONG RIFLE CA. 1810-20. Smooth bore .45 caliber 42” octagon barrel. Tiger maple stock with bone inlaid cheek rest and brass nipple pick holder. Engraved brass patch box and mounts. Old but later replacement ramrod. Acutely curved butt in the Allentown School fashion. Originally flint and converted to percussion. Metal with old patina and unpolished brass. Stock refinished with some loss along the forend and an old hairline repair between the tang and lock plate. Lock in functioning order and good bore.
