Description:
Remington Model 11 Military Shotgun. Model 11 12 GA shotgun in immaculate, basically mint condition. 20” barrel and manufactured for 2 ¾” shells. All original, unaltered gun with factory original matt blue finish and fine fire blued ejector. The images really do not do this firearm justice. Perfect, nicely-grained stock and forearm. Amazingly, the original Bakelite buttstock is perfect. I’ve owned this gun for many years but I have not fired it and it looks like it has very little if any field/range use. Unlike Winchesters, Colts, and even Browning firearms, Remington firearms are notoriously difficult to date but it is my opinion that this listing was manufactured during WWII or shortly thereafter. The serial number can be seen in one of the images I have provided so perhaps if you are able to ascertain the date of manufacture, this information would be of help to you.
