According to Ruger the No. 1 is a single-shot rifle, with Farquharson-style internal hammer falling-block action introduced in 1967. No 1's are very popular and this one in .300 Win Mag with a mid-weight barrel is in excellent shape with only slight handling marks and a single piece scope base with 1" rings.
