When I was a kid (that's one hell of a long time ago), all my buddies wanted one of these little J C Higgins rifles, probably because every Sears Store had them on display. With Hi Speed ammo they were quite reliable and if you had one you were the "King Of The Walk". This particular example is in excellent original condition as the photos show, with only minor handing marks from careful use. It is also fitted with a period 4x J C Higgins marked riflescope probably acquired at the same time as the rifle. Guaranteed to bring back memories.
