BELGIAN PINFIRE 16GA. HAMMER ANTIQUE DOUBLE SHOTGUN. Nickel plated appears original. 29" barrels(original length with small front bead) are surpisingly mint condition considering it was the black powder period. Back action island locks. Double underlever(one for opening breech-swings right) and smaller integral under that (swings left) for removal of forend. Straight grip wood buttstock over nickel plated buttplate with 14 1/4" LOP. Original scheutzen style triggerguard also nickel plated along with dbl triggers. Liege proofs under forend crisp along with "17.0" stamp. Left hammer has hairline forward of spur but secure. Wrist has repaired hairline above triggerguard. Not that anyone would fire these old pinfires but fun addition to sporting gun collection with hole to fill in evolution of sporting guns. Or hang over fireplace. Antique.
