Description:
Another great Pre War 70 in versatile 30-06 Caliber, this one with some notable handling marks on wood, but still absolutely uncut, undrilled, and unaltered in any way. Just a good solid rifle all around. S/N 48*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1942. Barrel is 24" with mirror bore, mechanics are spot on. At least 96% Blue over most with a couple scuff marks on Floor plate and more wear showing on butt plate. Wood is about 90% due to some noticeable marks and impressions but has a nice consistent finish. Will make someone an enviable, classic shooter or entry-level collector.
